The Fédération québécoise des professeures et professeurs d’université (FQPPU) is currently conducting a survey on professional autonomy and academic freedom in Québec universities. How much autonomy do professors really have when making decisions about the full scope of their responsibilities — teaching and research, but also participation in institutional life and service to the community? Does it vary across institutions, disciplines, or professors’ profiles?

Your participation will help better document the reality of professors’ work and support efforts to defend the conditions under which the profession is practiced.

The survey takes approximately 12 minutes to complete and all data collected are entirely anonymous.
