Le 4 novembre prochain, le premier ministre Mark Carney pr\u00e9sentera le budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 largement annonc\u00e9 que ce budget pr\u00e9voit des coupes budg\u00e9taires de 15\u00a0% dans tous les minist\u00e8res f\u00e9d\u00e9raux sur une p\u00e9riode de trois ans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Si des organismes de recherche tels que le CRSH, le CRSNG et les IRSC sont touch\u00e9s, des millions de dollars en subventions de recherche et en formation aux cycles sup\u00e9rieurs pourraient dispara\u00eetre.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dans le budget 2024, nous avons c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 des gains obtenus de haute lutte, notamment un engagement de 1,8\u00a0milliard de dollars sur cinq ans pour le financement de la recherche de base et de 825\u00a0millions de dollars pour les bourses d’\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures et les bourses postdoctorales.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Avec le budget 2025, ces aides essentielles \u00e0 la recherche canadienne pourraient \u00eatre menac\u00e9es.<\/span> \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nous devons agir maintenant.<\/span> Envoyez une lettre<\/span><\/a> au premier ministre, au ministre des Finances, \u00e0 la ministre de l’Industrie et \u00e0 votre d\u00e9put\u00e9e ou d\u00e9put\u00e9 local pour les exhorter \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger et \u00e0 renforcer le financement de la recherche.\u00a0Veuillez \u00e9galement en informer vos membres.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
